Well, the time has come to begin my summer class. I am taking EDTECH 542, Technology Supported Project-Based Learning. I am very excited about this class. I have visited the Buck Institute for Learning (BIE) website in the past to read about project-based learning. I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about methods and strategies for using project-based learning as well as collaboration with my peers to learn what others are doing in this area. Our first assignment was to create an ad as part of our introduction. I decided to give Adobe Spark a try. I had fun coming up with the layout for this project. I used a background picture that included my elementary students during center time. We had so much fun practicing math and reading skills with Tiggly Apps and manipulatives.
I look forward to a fun and busy seven weeks!
